Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: NJP / Bagdogra – Gangtok

Distance: 120 km | Duration: 4.5–5 hrs

On arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport, meet our representative and proceed to Gangtok.
Check in to the hotel.
In the evening, explore the lively MG Marg, famous for shopping, cafes, and local handicrafts.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 2: Gangtok – Tsomgo Lake – Baba Mandir – Gangtok

Distance: 41 km (one way) | Duration: 2.5 hrs

After early breakfast, drive to Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake), a stunning glacial lake located at an altitude of 12,310 ft.
Enjoy the scenic beauty and optional yak ride (own expense).

Proceed to Baba Harbhajan Singh Memorial Temple, a revered shrine dedicated to the Indian Army soldier.

Optional: Visit Nathula Pass (Indo-China border – subject to permit, weather & extra cost).

Return to Gangtok by evening.
Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 3: Gangtok – Lachen

Distance: 122 km | Duration: 6–7 hrs

After breakfast, proceed towards Lachen (permits arranged in advance).
En route visit:

Seven Sisters Waterfall

Pass through Chungthang, where the Lachen Chu and Lachung Chu rivers meet, forming the Teesta River.

On arrival, check in to the hotel and relax.
Overnight stay at Lachen.

Day 4: Lachen – Gurudongmar Lake – Lachung

Distance: 170 km | Duration: Approx. 8 hrs

Early morning drive to the breathtaking Gurudongmar Lake (17,800 ft), one of the highest and most sacred lakes in the world, known for its crystal-clear waters and spiritual significance.

Return to Lachen for lunch, then check out and proceed to Lachung.
On arrival, check in to the hotel.

Day 5: Lachung – Yumthang Valley – Gangtok

Distance: 170 km | Duration: Approx. 8 hrs

After breakfast, visit Yumthang Valley, famously known as the Valley of Flowers, surrounded by snow-clad peaks and alpine meadows.
