Arunachal Pradesh, formerly known as the North Eastern Frontier Agency (NEFA), is popularly called “The Land of the Rising Sun.” Located in the northeastern part of India, the state is bordered by China to the north, Assam and Nagaland to the south, Myanmar to the southeast, and Bhutan to the west.

Known for its untouched landscapes, Buddhist monasteries, mountain passes, and rich tribal culture, Arunachal Pradesh offers a truly serene and unique travel experience. This tour is thoughtfully designed to explore the best of the region with comfortable travel and well-planned stays.

Best Time to Visit Arunachal Pradesh

For a Tawang-focused trip, March to October is generally considered a good travel period, while winter brings much colder conditions and the possibility of heavy snowfall. Road conditions can change during snow and severe weather, so travellers should keep some flexibility in their itinerary.
